Convocation 2023

The Seventeenth Graduation Ceremony of Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), Secunderabad was held on, 29 April 2023. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana conferred Bachelor Degrees to 38 students and Masters Degrees to 13 students in Dental Surgery for 2017 and 2019 batches respectively. The Chief Guest, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana congratulated graduands and their parents and urged them to dedicate their lives in serving the needy. She complimented the faculty of ACDS for providing state of the art facilities and promoting research amongst students. Major General Rakesh Manocha, SM, VSM General Officer Commanding (GOC) Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) and Chairman ACDS thanked the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana for gracing the occasion. The officials from KNR University of Health sciences and civil dignitaries were also in attendance.
The “Patron’s Rolling trophy, Dakshin Bharat Area” for overall best MDS student was awarded to Dr Agrima Thakur from the Department of Orthodontics. Dr K Ranjima bagged “Chief of Army Staff Rolling Trophy” for best all-round student and the “General Officer Commanding-in Chief Rolling Trophy” for best BDS student in academics. The students of ACDS made their parents proud who turned up in large numbers for witnessing the event.
